Group Facilitation

What is Group Facilitation?

Systems need intentional work to thrive and operate at their best. Group Facilitation allows a leader of any team to take a step back and address the growth edge for their unique sets of goals. Sometimes that is done proactively. And sometimes that is done in response to conflict. Working with the leaders to devise a plan for the group to address whatever needs to be addressed in order to move forward is the work of Group Facilitation.

Elizabeth as a Group Facilitator

This is a unique skill set of Elizabeth’s as she combines her work as a coach, a mediator, a conflict resolution trainer and a restorative justice practitioner into one intervention. She will work with leaders to diagnosis the situation, develop an interactive solution that both supports conflict resolution in a safe and positive way, while building connections among a system of people who work together. This will ultimately result in a path forward to accomplish the stated goals of the organization. Elizabeth can use individual coaching, small group mediations, training modules or circle practice in combination to address the circumstances that each organization may present.

What to expect?

Elizabeth is often hired to support a team or group move through a conflict, learn skills, or come up with a path forward for the future. This begins by Elizabeth meeting with the leaders of the group to design a process that works for them. Elizabeth will meet with anyone for an hourly fee until a plan is developed. Once the plan is developed, she will give the group a proposal for executing on the plan that will include cost, timeline, and goals for the process.
